1. More about Me!

Hello!  Elizabeth here to tell you a bit about myself (because I can).

BA in Anthropology with a focus on Medieval Bioarchaeology.  I’ve done an archaeology field school in Italy (Etruscan), and worked as an intern at a paleontological site in South Dakota (The Mammoth Site of Hot Springs).  Both were fun but archaeology is more my calling than paleo.  I’ve finished my senior project: “Bioarchaeology and the Written Record; Evidence for surgery from the 8th -15th centuries CE.” and presented it at a conference in Holyoke in April.  I’m looking forward to graduate school next fall in the UK at the University of Durham’s MSc in Paleopathology.

My hobbies include comic books (mostly Marvel, but I can see the merit in a few choice others), sculpting, science fiction(movies, books, tv shows), playing intense games of “Clue,” building magnificent Lego castles, playing the violin, and at this point I’m pretty sure I can list studying as a hobby.  Currently working in a local hardware store.

As for fandoms: Whitechapel, Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Avengers, Game of Thrones, the Borgias, Star Trek, and whatever else I can’t think of right now.
